I just returned from a trip to Vienna and Hungary where I saw some excellent exhibits on Vienna Secession, Egon Schiele, and Symbolist painting. I also had a chance to go visit the National Library in Vienna where I dug up some fine examples of Jugendstil Graphics.
I’ve added some new work by Koloman Moser (KM), Hans Christiansen (HC), G. th Kempf, and Mila Von Luttich (MVL) to the galleries. These new additions can also be viewed in the ‘New Additions’ gallery here.
I was disappointed that I didn’t find any biographical information on the two artists Mila Von Luttich and Gottlieb Theodore Kempf when I was visiting libraries Vienna. It seems that these two excellent artists have been forgotten in history and aside from a few bits of information, their life remains a mystery. If anyone has any information or research material to share, I would very much appreciate it!
